Swami Bhumanand Dharmarth Chikitsalya & Research Institute a Trust was established in the year 2000 by Swami Achyutananda Tirth Ji Maharaj in memory of his Guru Anant Shri Vibhushit Swami Shri Bhumanand Tirth Ji Maharaj. The trust started with a charitable eye hospital to serve the underprivileged in and around Haridwar. In 2009, he established Shri Swami Bhumanand Hospital, which has over 300 beds and state-of-the-art medical equipment and the hospital's comprehensive medical services.Also in 2011 extended his commitment to education and healthcare by establis hing the Sri Swami Bhumanand Nursing College & Paramedical Institute.
Swamiji always said “Hospital is a Temple; Patient is God; and Doctor is Priest”.His holiness Shankracharya Swami ji Maharaj has still to do a lot for the suffering community and therefore decided to establish a ultra modern multi specialty hospital equipped with latest technology and availability of expert doctors . His pious mission came true with start of Shri Swami Bhumanand Hospital was inaugurated in the year 2009.The hospital is aimed to provide the specialist treatment, rehabilitation, awareness and prevention of various diseases and intensive health care.

In 2011, Swami Ji extended his commitment to education and healthcare by establishing the Sri Swami Bhumanand Nursing College. The college offers courses in NM, GNM and BSc Nursing, and was later expanded to include paramedical courses under the name Sri Swami Bhumanand Paramedical Institute. Currently, the college has more than 500 students who are receiving quality education in the field of healthcare.
